Guide
Manglik (Mangal, Kuja) dosha is the most searched dosha in marriage astrology, and it is very common. Classical texts also give many rules that cancel or soften it, so the label alone says little about a marriage.
Manglik dosha is the traditional name for Mars placed in the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house (some traditions add the 2nd), counted from the Lagna, the Moon or Venus. It is common, and classical rules cancel or soften many placements.
"Anshik" Manglik is a popular term, not a classical one. It is usually used when Mars is in a Manglik house from only one of the three reference points (Lagna, Moon or Venus), or when cancellation rules weaken it. It is generally treated as mild.
No. It is a factor to consider in matching and timing, not a ban. Marriage timing comes from the 7th house, Venus, the Navamsa and the dasha periods, as for anyone else.
You need your date, time and place of birth: the houses depend on the ascendant, which changes about every two hours. The free self-analysis checks it from the Lagna, Moon and Venus and applies the cancellation rules.
